I cant say whether it is right or wrong for a woman to have an abortion, all I can say is that we can not judge or look down on the women that do so. We can not put ourselves in the shoes of the women who choose to do so. I would also say that it is not up to our government to try to tell women in this situation that they must have a child that they do not want for one reason or another. I believe that this is one thing that no one will be able to regulate or stop.

That's quite a collection of positions there. It humbly admits that the author doesn't know everything and is not the moral judge. I dunno who you are, but you sound like good company. Still, I believe the post misses the point. I propose that the crux of the issue depends on whether or not the thing being aborted is a living, human, person or not. Afterall, if we were talking about a one year old, giving the infant's right to live away as a 'right to choose', would be generally agreed as a euphemism for murder (unless you're Peter Singer). Noone argues for a woman's right to choose after the baby is out. It's like the baby is born and crys, "Ally ally oxen free." So without looking down on mothers who had abortions and without any delusions that abortion can be regulated better than anything else, I propose this: that the matter depends on when the baby becomes a live, human person. I do so because regardless of relatibility to the situation, right/wrong, regulation, or even rape, at some point, the baby gets the right to live and choosing to take that life is murder. P.S. Mom, I glad you didn't abort me.

YES AND NO......... 9 times out of 10 the child being aborted is still in the stages of being considered an embryo and has yet to develop any of the organs.... including a heart or brain, so if done in the proper time frame i would say that this option is better than having a child you wouldn't want or need. hey check your messages ok

All I have to say about your comment BlackHawk is that everyone has there own opinion, now it was stated that I don't sway either way on this topic I just think it is too sensitive to each and every case that we can not put barriers on this, and I do know what the bible says, but it also says that we should not judge each other..... that is not our place the only person that can judge anyone is the good lord above!

No one said anything about judging each other. But I will make my point on this subject and I may be the bad guy but OH well. To me it is murder to abort a child. That is plain and cut dry. The very thought of doing something so heartless chills my bones and that is just not easy to do. I have seen some of the most weird, discussting, and perverted things in my day and I still think that everyone has a point to be born a "complete human". Killing something that the greater power made to me is just plain stupid. I also don't care, the child didn't do anything to deserve such a cold and calculated act. It is truly premeditated murder. Just in out-passionate form.

all i have to say is that i believe that we should let the women having abortions be put to death and see how many would then keep killing these innocient children

I can't say whether its ok or not. I think it depends on the situation. I do believe that its not right that the government should say whether they can or can't. If a woman, although, is sexual active and does not in any means take responsibilty in preventing a pragnancy & she has a habbit of getting pregnant then having an abotion, then yes something should be done to prevent a woman like that from either conceving or having an abortion. I have mixed feelings on this subject.

Seems like a slippery problem. Keep the government out, yet regulate the abortion habits of irresponsible women. That problem only exists when one is persuaded that this painful killing of an innocent human being, should be permitted at all.

Where are the ACLU lawers that are fighting the death penalty when we need them? Seems that there fight should incude this. It is a pre-life death penalty.
ABORTION = EXACUTION BEFORE BIRTH
