How do you know? Many theories are around and maybe they're just that: theories. Is that all we have? What are some good ones?
"You don't stay with the one you can live with. It's the one you can't live without." "The stork brings him/her too." "Ya just- click." (What ever that means.) "Who-ever will put up with you" "She should be your best friend." "If you two never fight, then you know." (Right. You know that one of you has no spine!)
There's a couple I've heard. Any thoughts?

Ok, now this is a subject that I have various opinions on. But on this one it goes something like this:
There is a feeling, but it is nothing like you ever thought you could feel. For some people it is a partner that they can't live with out. Others it is someone you could never live with. It is a matter of what you see in the person. It is the personality that you have to fall in love with. If you fall in love with looks or anything else then over time your love will fade away. Hence people falling out of love. If you truly love a person then you love the thought of them. You will wake up thinking of them. You will put them before yourself. Your thought process will be "US" not "I". You will see things in this person that no one else sees. You will strive to improve yourself because you want to be better than you were the day before. All that will matter is each other. You will dream about holding your partner not having sex. You will understand that sex is the practice of showing love to the one person in the world that all your thoughts and feelings center around. If you can't see you and your partner 30 years down the road still talking about issues of the day like friends then you know it will not work. If you can't share your inter most thought, dreams, and desires then it will not work. The husband or wife you pick will have to be your best friend. You two are going through life together. The good lord said that when you are married you become one flesh. Know this and understand what it means. Without it you will not spend a lifetime together. Trust me I know from experience, and it took me years to figure this out after I lost my wife.
